Hi! I'm Josh,

I am a visual designer and illustrator from the beautiful coast of Vancouver. Currently, I am a first-year Biomedical Communications Master’s student at the University of Toronto. In this program, I am able to combine my Biology degree (UBC) along with my love for all things design to create visual communication pieces in the context of health and sciences.

I believe healthcare should be universally and equally accessible to all. However, even if it was, the nuances in which we interact with our healthcare system can still perpetuate inequality. I believe that good design can help bridge this gap and continue to push the envelope for equal accessibility in health and medicine. To this end, I am interested in Interaction design that borders the cusp between healthcare, sciences, and its consumers.

In my free time, you may see me playing basketball (or cheering on the Golden State Warriors), binging anime or going on a hike.
