De Laval Cream Separator Animation
An old-time commercial about the De Laval cream separator's historical significance
Animation
Challenge:
The Ingenium museum (Toronto) wants to garner interest for their cream separator exhibit through a short video posted on Instagram Reels. Because of its role, the video should educate the audience about the cream separator while retaining interest within the short time format.
Solution:
We created an old-time, commercial-style video that sells the audience on the cream separator. By using vignetting and grain effects that emulate an older video, combined with modern match-cut and transitions, we created an animation that is succinctly educational yet fun to watch.
